Sarah Locke works for Barclays as a Business Relationship Manager and needs the flexibility of working remotely to facilitate a house move at any time, being married to Andy, who works in the military.

Having moved 13 times over 19 years as a couple, Sarah explained the need to live a fairly minimal life, so that all their worldly belongings can comfortably fit into a standard removals lorry, ready for the next port of call.

Wives of men who work in the armed forces are often known as ‘military spouses’. As well as supporting her husband wherever he goes, Sarah also works in the business lending department of Barclays and due to being able work remotely, is able to work from home, wherever Andy is stationed.

The shot which Barclays used on their website was also displayed on a large screen as part of British Armed Forces Day.
